Dan Gilbert Statement

Dan Gilbert is my hero forever. That said:

There is a bunch we do not know. Just one small example; Dan says he was betrayed. That tells me LeBron probably gave him BIG clues he was staying. It tells me LeBron probably relayed information to the Cavs that he loved Byron Scott as a coach and we should go get him. The Gilbert letter tells me a lot. More stuff we will find out. Other stuff we will never find out.

One thing I know for sure now thinking back on ALL things that have happened. Bosh, Wade, and James had this planned for a very long time. I now believe they all knew this way before Wade and Bosh trekked to Chicago with the silly meetings with the Bulls. The entire FA period was nothing but a huge circus put on by LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh.

The nail in the coffin is the fact James KNEW what his decision was going to be BEFORE they decided to contact ESPN.

Any bets on Shaq coming out with a few choice comments now?

I really don't understand the bashing of Mo. He was one of the only players that played his ass off during the playoffs. He is what he is. We knew what we were getting when we brought him here. He can't play defense on guys like Rose and Rondo, and if you have a team that can adjust, you recover. We lost not because of Mo, but because of Lebron and MB. I really disagree with all the blame for the supporting cast.

I'd love to see Mo back.

Adding my thanks to this is just not enough, I have to comment. Lebron is a punk-ass bitch, and when you look at how poorly he and his stupid friends managed this situation, it would be a fucking joke to think he will ever be a legit billionaire. I've always seen the photos of him and Maverick Carter with Warren Buffet, and thought to myself "Hmm, that's such an odd pairing. What could those guys be talking about? What do they have in common?" I finally see the answer is nothing. LeBron is an athlete, nothing more. He and his friends are fucking amateurs in marketing and business.

This stupid charade has made him despised in two of the three largest markets in this country, plus his own hometown. And you might not say he's despised there just yet. But don't worry, it will come out that this shit has been planned for the last 3 years. The Nets, Knicks, Bulls and Cavs never had a shot tonight, and those guys will get pissed too. Meanwhile, the second largest market -- LA -- will just continue to laugh at him, as he has proven he's not even in the same fucking league as Kobe. Kobe's won 5 titles while LeBron's gotta quit his team and join Wade's team just to have a chance at ONE? I'll laugh my fucking ass off when they lose to the Lakers next year because 2 of their starters and their entire bench is comprised of minimum players.

Sorry if that was too far. Probably means a trade coming. A buddy of mine works for the Lake Erie Monsters and we've had talks about the possibility of Gilbert bringing in a NHL team. The guy truly wants to get a winner in Cleveland.

I don't think he has that much money though. I really hope he continues to be involved in projects here and eventually turns the city around - both in the sports world and as a whole. Maybe an NHL team can come later, lol.

But anyway, it'd be awesome if he blew the team up and traded the players to other competitors to try to stop Miami. It'd be an effort to thwart Miami's plans to dominate while still making an effort to rebuild the team (which is the correct step). Kill two birds with one stone, etc.
