12-21-12: Your thoughts

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I have already stocked up on a lifetimes worth of SPAM incase this goes down. In reality though this is about as believable as the tooth fairy, without the fun.

The world will come to an end when God is ready for it.

well I have read somewhere that if the world were to sstop spinning we would be sent out at 1.5 x the speed of light. If the world would end, that would be a pretty sweet experience but only if your out in the open

Sorry, I just have to edit this one. There's a movie coming out I think about this year.

I don't buy into any of the end of days nonsense... but as Pip said, if it happens, it happens. And honestly I'd rather go out with the rest of the world than alone.

^ That said, I have to say I'm intrigued by where that movie will go.

And speaking of Mayans, if anyone ever gets a chance to visit Chichen Itza in Mexico I highly recommend it. The Mayan civilization is a fascinating study... I can proudly say I made it to the top of the great pyramid there, and it was pretty f'ing scary...

I don't remember any "fun" visits from the tooth fairy when I was younger. Did I miss out on some action? All I ever got was an f'n quarter...

I remember when I was a freshman in High School and everyone was predicting the world was supposed to end on 5/5/97 or something close to that date... Hilarious...

The world did end for a short while that day, and the destructor was named Jose Quervo.

A) Another theory from the Mayans has something to do with Bee pollination, it stops and creates a cycle that eventually leads to mans downfall....

Isn't this that horrible movie with Mark Walberg? The Happening

I must admit, I'm a conspiracy theorist at heart, but this isn't really an end of days conspiracy. More like a prophecy that was introduced by the Mayans and was echoed by Nostradomus as well.

While I'm sure most of you know about this, I'll drop a little bit of knowledge on the subject:

All calendars have beginning dates and no end dates...except for the Mayan calendar, which has an end date of Dec 21, 2012. Basically what's suppose to happen is the following:

Earth, the milky way galaxy, and the sun will align on the same axis and cause roughly 1 hour of complete destruction. Our planet goes on a 26,000 year wobble. The Mayans themselves have suggested that their own end date is really nothing more than the finishing point of a particular age, which has occurred plenty of times throughout existence.

Think about the increasing numbers of superstorms, earthquakes, typhoons, hurricanes, tornados.

It could be real. It could be a hoax. But glbal warming certainly has something to do with it. As our planets shape shifts, the axis it's on must correspond with the shifting. Too much shifting and it's difficult to sustain.
And when the sun, earth, and the galaxy are all aligned on the same axis at the same time, shit hits the fan.

Just wanted to hear your guys' thoughts.

I'm gonna build a bomb sheltor and stock up on canned food.
