2024 NBA Playoffs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
JWill went to the Kevin Love school of drawing charges. He's gotten great at it.

How bad was the game thread? I did not want to subject myself to it tonight lol. Oh nevermind - I read two pages and saw enough for my liking....

Considering we ended up getting blown out it was mild compared to most of the losing game threads this season. I’ve dubbed Mobley and Garland the “Bashed Bros” because they get the shit beat out of them in the game threads. They deserve criticism but piling on is only a penalty in the NFL, not game threads.

Some appeared surprised that Derrick White is a very good player.

I‘m not mad at all. At the start of the season I thought 4th seed was no lock and most pundits had us behind Boston, Milwaukee, Philly and Miami. Many had us behind NY. I thought winning the first round of the playoffs was our likely result but not a lock and that making the ECF was a long shot. That was before all the injuries. Almost every pundit had Boston in five. They’re much better than we are.

Changes are needed this summer though. I know JBB’s head is at the top of most peoples list but the roster needs some work.

Daniel Gafford and Chet Holmgren bringing Big Block Energy.

This is gonna be a fun series.

I am not mad at all either and felt the same. Boston Celtics did just have one of the best seasons ever in the NBA and they just finished like 5th all time for point differential and have the most 25-point wins or something like that in the history of the NBA. I am not going to spend much time in the game threads I feel like Cleveland has established themselves as a top-4 team in the East, and they can only get better, possibly with a new coach this offseason and some player adjustments. I saw some suggest because tonight's L Don is gone, which makes little sense, Knicks and Heat are not great options at the moment. I don't know again, why he would ever risk turning down that contract on top of us being a top 4 team in the East...

Celtics are just so stacked and were on 5 days rest while Cleveland is just getting out of a 7 game series and is down their All Star Center and even Wade...Boston's record without Zingy is absurd too...

EDIT:

The boys made it to the second round, I am a happy camper - would like to see them get a win or two in this series though...

Can someone link me to the SGA not willing to play in Cleveland articles? What a disaster

Well that got out of hand fast. Wtf. Dallas was just down ~2 points or tied. Now they are down 11.

Lu Dort sparking a Thunder run with his badass aggressiveness, swishing a bold three and stealing from Luka on the other end. Now OKC is energized and draining threes.

The contrast between watching teams with real coaches who run real offenses and watching the Cavs is always startling
OKC is masterful at backdoor cuts, Chet PnRs, and moving the ball around quickly to open shooters. They don't spend the whole shot clock probing; SGA and JDub are very good at moving on if they can't get their iso.

SGA has also been traded twice.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, a potential top-10 pick in the draft, refused to work out for the Cavs and went as far as saying he didn't want to play for Cleveland.

Brian Windhorst dropped the knowledge and it seems safe to say that the Cavs won't be selecting Gilgeous-Alexander at No. 8. The Kentucky product has been gaining traction as a top-10 pick throughout the day and could go as high as sixth overall to Orlando. It's also been reported that he's unlikely to slip past Charlotte at No. 11.

Thunder are pretty slept on for a 1 seed

for most of last series you could get even money on them for 1H against the fucking PELICANS without Zion

I didn’t watch a ton of them this year, but they look much better than bettors have given them credit for
