Just read an article saying lakers must do everything to keep lebron. Why? It’s like here and saying we have to impress Mitchell, we can get bounced out the first without Mitchell. Why did the lakers need lebron to get boat raced out the playoffs?

LeBron is a global brand. Lakers brand and their franchise income thrives on that. Mitchell is in his prime and has superstar talent. Yeah he has kinda sucked but you still keep those type of guys at all costs. Try to rebuild the offense around Mitchell with a better coach. Talent does not grow on trees.

Winning the first round means your a Top-8 team in the NBA. That alone is an accomplishment, just to keep things in perspective. Only 8 teams advance. Winning is hard for everyone.

He is a great shooter and he also has a huge advantage in that no one goes near him for fear of being called for a foul. It's like he has a repulsion field or smells really really bad. It's bizarre to watch him waltz down the center of the defense.
