# 1: Dallas Mavericks
# 2: San Antonio Spurs
# 3: Miami Heat
# 4: ????? ??????

The top 3 are accounted for, with the Miami Heat flying the flag for the Eastern Conference. The candidates for the four spot would include the ever present Detroit Pistons, Amare's Phoenix Suns, the upstart LA Clippers, with Cleveland and New Jersey also mixing it up.

Poll up soon.

Poll added.

I took the Phoenix Suns. Hard to see this team dropping away when you are about to inject Amare Stoudamire back into the lineup. If anything, this team lacked an inside presense. Not anymore.

Phoenix did so well even without Amare, and other players who were considered outcasts on other teams even played well, such as Tim Thomas, and its also hard to pick against a team with such a great leader as Steve Nash.

cleveland...suns will never win a championship the way they play.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have the ever-improving LeBron James. Definitely in title contention this year.

Injecting an Amare Stoudemire doesn't necessarily spell success. Nash can spread the ball around, but can he make the cream rise past a certain point?

He started in 2000 for the first time:
00-01: 53-29 - 2nd round exit to SAS
01-02: 57-25 - 2nd round exit to SAC
02-03: 60-22 - Semifinal exit to SAS
03-04: 52-30 - 1st round exit to SAC

Then moved to PHX
04-05: 62-20 - Semifinal exit to SAS
05-06: 54-28 - Semifinal exit to DAL

I suppose this is the year to prove it...

That'll do us with this one.

Phoenix Suns are our 4th ranked team in our Power Rankings.

The next poll will be up soon. Thankyou for voting.

If healthy, PHX will be a monster... There's not a better team in the league if they're healthy.
