(RCF) How is Damon Jones in the locker room? Does his on the court antics translate into a cancerous relationship with his teammates?

(BW) No, he's well liked. He is who he is and every one
knows it. He's a likeable person.

(RCF) The rumor around the message boards is Drew Gooden has a
larger posse then MC Hammer during the "2 legit to quit" days. Any truth
to this?

(BW) Not true. Drew has friends, but it is a smaller posse than LeBron or Dajuan Wagner.

(RCF) Yell Marshall shot has been in the toilet for the past 15 games, is he battling through an injury or is he confused about where he fits on the team?

(BW) No,he's fine. He's rebounding and driving to the basket more so it isn't as bad.

(RCF) Are the Cavs wasting Lebron James talent in the open court by not having a point guard who likes to push the ball?

(BW) This is an overrated issue, Cavs are one of the league's best offensive teams and LeBron is having the best offensive season of his career.

(RCF) How long do you wait for players to learn a defensive system until you change the system to fit the players you have?

(BW) Mike Brown will never change his defensive system. He'll be fired first

(RCF) Drew Gooden - How long will he be wearing the wine and gold?

(BW) I'd be shocked if he's here next year, if he is it will be on a one-year tender

RCF is going to try to have a 6 questions with Brian Windhorst every week. Post your questions here and the 6 best will be asked.

Do you see the Cavaliers making a deal this season for a PG who can beat someone off the dribble and push the ball? If so which current Cavaliers would be dangled?

Eh..not much info there. We need to come up with some good questions, one that he will be able to answer with qaulity.

Nice post, Ben, particularly the questions about Jones and Gooden. Jones certainly galls me with his behavior, but as long as he doesn't gall his teammates I can live with that. The rumors about Gooden's entourage didn't square with my knowledge of the situation, but BW is certainly closer to the situation than my contacts. I saw Wagner's Boyz-in-hood entourage whenever I was with the team in New York City, and it was pretty discouraging. I don't think he ever stopped being a boy from Camden.

I got a couple:

Are there any talks in the works or plans to make some roster moves before the trade deadline this season? If so, what positions/needs are the higher-ups looking to fill?

Mike Brown is constantly talking about how the defense isn't where he wants it to be, but which players does he think seem to "get it" and which ones still don't?

Ditto on Dugong, And here are some more.

Are there any explanations for the drop off in shooting touch from Marshall and Jones?

Do Mike Brown and Danny Ferry both believe we have adequate center back up?

Do you think the cavs will experiment with hughes at the point?

Its all well and good that Damon Jones is liked amoungst his players, but how is the coaching staffs relationship with Jones after he has shown distain about their decisions on numerous occations?

Gooden will be traded this year I think, but it won't be until right at the trade deadline. That will be more than enough time for the Cavs to see exactly what they have with Varejao. He will have been in the rotation for about a month by then. I don't think we can get Jason Terry but it will be for A POINT GUARD. I strongly believe that Ferry realizes this.

We all know that the cavs weakness is their defense. What is the target that the cavs need to have night in and night out, fg% or total points, to show they are a good defensive team.

I would like to know when Mike Brown is going to get Lebron into a rotation and get his minutes under control. He has played 44 mins or more in 11 of 14 games in DECEMBER, and 40 mins or more in 13 of 14. He is usually not rested for the entire second half. Ridiculous, shades of Silas.
