Why are we getting so angry at trade ideas? Although I can't imagine a scenario where this would happen, I can't be too mad because he's at least not acting like he has insider knowledge. At least he has the balls to post trades. I don't even bother cus it's not my steez.

Agreed with Split here. This is the point of this Trade Ideas section, to separate it from the Cavs Talk where most threads are that of reality. And there's nothing really to get riled up about from trade ideas....

People who post trades straight from the ESPN trade machine aren't really considering realities as much as they are matching up salary. That is why the trades technically work, but the arguments for making them are paper thin to non-existant. Very bad form if you ask me.

Actually, I have never made a post straight from any of the available trade-machine (And I doubt that very many others have either).

I conceive a trade Idea, then I "usually" (not always) look to the trade-machine to see if it works salary-wise. If it does...cool; if not, then I try to come-up with "filler" to make the trade work.

I believe this is most-likely the exact process that GM's use (minus the trade-machine): They conceive of a trade, and add filler as-needed to make it work.
