Early returns are interesting. Wonder why he was only in Mahoning Valley for a cup of coffee? Not sure if he got bumped up b/c they see potential or b/c Lake County needed a C. Would be one heck of a diamond in the rough if he does pan, he was a 33rd rounder and I don't see that he signed for a big bonus so he probably wasn't a highly touted draft-and-follow.

I was just gonna ask how much did he sign for. I hope it's a diamond in the rough. We could use a break. We certainly know how to find talent at the C position.

I can't find what he signed for online. Baseball America possibly has it in their archives but I don't have a subscription. The news releases at the time of his signing do not indicate what he signed for; usually if a guy signed for a significant amount they list it.
