All Pro 2k8?

Anybody got this yet? While it doesn't have a franchise mode(big stink), I hear it's actually pretty fun. Each of the all-pro's have a different style supposedly, and you can make endless combinations of teams. Supposedly more of a game that's great for head 2 head play with friends, or online from what I've been hearing anyways. I always liked the 2k series, I may have to give it a shot eventually.

PS3 or X360.

It's stupid...they should just put this kind of feauture in Madden...they did something like this last year I remember somene signing Art Monk in my franchise before I figured out how to get rid of them...

They should just put this as Legends Mode on Madden and do the NFL Head Coach game as another feauture on Madden. These should be features...not games.

The problem is the 2k engine is much better than Madden....At least IMO.

This is the kind of game that looks kinda cool and might be worth the investment, but after a week, the novelty wears off...

I might rent it to see how it is, but it doesn't peek my interest and isn't worth buying...

You can actually do leagues in this game rather than Madden. I dunno, I don't care about any single player portions of these football games. I find it all boring...

I would rather compete against people rather than the old CPU or play one off games where half the time people quit in single games when they are losing 7-0....

And how important is the NFL License anyways? Who cares? I mean you can be Bernie Kosar in this game....

And the gameplay is much better....

Gameplay is not better. It is still running on the old system. This game is crap.

It was never better than Madden in the first place.

I went ahead and rented it, since I finally got an Xbox. It strikes me as a game that I'd never buy, but one that I'd have rented quite a bit. Back in the day, rentals were like a buck or two. This is definitely a game to play h2h with a friend though.

Yeah I played the demo wasn't a fan of it to much.

But speaking of rentals I remember when me and my bro were kids and couldn't afford much so we use to always rent games at the game rental which was right by our house. We rented Mortal Kombat like 15-20 times when we scrapped up a buck or two.

I used to rent games allllllllll the time. I rented every game almost for the PS1 from Road runner. It was only three dollars.

I went to blockbuster the other day cause I was waiting to get my hair cut and it cost like $8 to rent a game from there. Unreal.

madden 08 pisses me off, i cant even throw an out pattern to braylon edwards without it getting picked off (corner always jumps in front of it, like he KNOWS its coming, or maybe braylon just sucks at route running)...also, anything over the middle to kellen winslow = picked off

how many pick 6's can you get in a game? i played online where me and the opponent had two each

also, fumbles, dont even get me started on fumbles...it is impossible to run with the qb because you will fumble nine times out of ten, EVEN IF you press RB to protect the ball...also, i cannot tell you how many times i have fumbled with cribbs on a kickoff return...has cribbs ever fumbled a kickoff return? kicking FG's are also too easy, in all online matches i have played...NO ONE has missed a FG

another favorite of mine, is when you play the rams for example and they have steven jackson...they just time and time again run over you...i'll try all sorts of defenses and even highlight him, and it wont stop him (i play on all-pro)

recently, i played an online game against the vikings...some dude was dickin around and did fake FG's his entire first drive...first time, it caught me off guard, he completed a 20 yard pass to Adrian Peterson...then he did it again, but this time i had the nickel package playing for the pass and even highlighted peterson...what happened? 55 yard TD pass to Adrian Peterson ON A FAKE FG PASS
