With the playoffs going and the Browns sucking ever since the 94 season I had to watch some old Brownies stuff. So I went out into my deck looking for the first home win against the steelers, and I couldnt find it but took the 2000 Browns tape. As Im looking through I see some games against the Oilers in Houston so I pushed those aside until I saw "Monday Night Football-Bears Vs. Browns".
Well in 2000 the Browns had Everett Lindsay, Paul Zakuskus, Corey Fuller, Rahiem Abdulah, Walli Rainer and STALEN COLLINET!!!!. Man did chris palmer blow. :chuckles:
But back to the bears game, you know the game that is still talked about every once in a while, the last time I saw it takled about was in the oragne and brown mag when Ozzie was being interviewed. Well if you didnt know there was talent on that team, like Eric Metcalf, Michael Freaking Dean Freaking Perry was a stud, and of course Hanford Dixon and Fank Minifield.
The Bears had been averaging somewhere around 30 points a game, but they were held to 7 as the Browns WON 27-7.:chuckles:
The best part of the game was when da bears was stopped at the 2 yard line on 4th down, this was after the reffs told the crowd that they were tooooo loud for the offense and that was on the opposite side of the dawg pound and on the next play, after the turnover, Bernie Kosar hit Webster Slaughter for a 98 yard td pass. :yay: :yay: :yay: I threw a fist pump into the air even thought the game was played 17 years ago. :chuckles:
