Anyone read Secret Invasion?

I was fortunate enough to have access to a 115 issue set with all the tie-in and back stories and I wanted to know if anyone has read at least the main issues.

I really dont read comic books as a hobby but I heard so much about this event I had to check it out

Isn't this just Marvel's new idea to rip off it's best idea from the 80s?

It is supposed to be the brainchild of a Marvel writer who has been dropping hints in the stories he has been writing for years.

The invasion plan itself is pretty ingenious and it also explains why certain things happened in other recent Marvel mega-events.

I'm always sorta bummed that I quit reading comic books during the Onslaught saga. I think I would've gotten really upset a year or so back with the whole House of M thing, but after reading up on this on Wikipedia, it seems like a really intriguing storyline. I might have to look at downloading some of these.
