Baxter Career Over?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We gotta release Cutch and Baxter to get him. Not sure how the whole release a player while he is injured thing works in the NFL though.

You have to reach an injury settlement with him so you can release him. That money counts against the cap. Since it was an on field injury, you can't just send him packing for nothing usually.

OL DT CB are the biggies..

and QB, im not sold on Frye. NFL scouts are projecting troy smith to drop as low as the early second round. If we could somehow trade up for him or just get him in the second round that would not only add depth, but could be a steal.

Why are the browns so content on not drafting OSU players?!?!?! Look at simon fraiser undrafted and has done good for the browns. Why not draft some OSU players, that would make me a lot more interested in the browns if they drafted Pitcock, Smith, or tedd ginn!

32 teams passed on Fraiser seven times...something wasnt very appealing about him.

He is horrible against the run, he is smaller, and let's face it...the guy is all hustle. Not against that. He is good for depth, but that's about it.

OSU has produced a lot of good players, but have the Browns been in position to get them??? I dont think so...I wanted Hawk, but we couldnt get him. Didnt need Mangold, Holmes, or the other LB..so really, there hasnt been many oppurtunities.

You don't let the fact that a kid is from a local school change your draft board. The only way it would come into play would be if you viewed two players as even everywhere else. Then you might put the local player ahead to apease the fans.

The Browns just need to draft good football players, preferably at positions of need. If their from Ohio State, great. At this point, I almost don't want Cleveland to take any Buckeyes. I'd hate to see my beloved Buckeyes go to the pros and have to lose every week.
