Press Release - LeBron James got the season off to a nice start, being named the Eastern Conference Player of the Month

The Los Angeles Clippers ’ Elton Brand was named Western Conference Player of the Month. Other nominees for Eastern Conference Player of the Month were Detroit’s Chauncey Billups, Indiana’s Jermaine O’Neal, Miami’s Dwyane Wade, Orlando’s Dwight Howard and Philadelphia’s Allen Iverson

why do you feel bad for Billups - he has a ring. I'm sure he'd rather have that then an all star game (which he has not shot at).

Lebron was clearly the best in the east in november. who else was even close? he had great stats last month and he is doing almost as good in december. he could be the first player to win layer of the month every month but they would prolly be too embarassed to have one guy win it every time so they will end up giving it to other guys out of pity.

LeBron would have won offensive player of the month. His defense stinks, which is why I dont think he deserved it. Someone like Iverson who was pretty much the equal to James offensively, but superior defensively would have been more deserved. I guess the NBA doesn't really want to promote the Allen Iverson's of the world these days.
