Cavs sign Stephen Graham to 10-day deal

The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed guard/forward Stephen Graham to a 10-day contract, Cavaliers General Manager Danny Ferry announced today.

Graham (6-6, 215 pounds) has played in nine NBA games this season with averages of 2.4 points and 1.1 rebounds in 6.4 minutes per game. He was signed by the Houston Rockets on Dec. 10 and averaged 2.8 points and 1.2 rebounds in six games played. Graham was waived by Houston on Dec. 29 and then signed to a 10-day contract by the Chicago Bulls on Jan. 17. He played in three games for the Bulls, averaging 1.7 points and 1.0 rebound in 6.3 minutes per game.

No big deal here. Probably wont even see minutes except for maybe in mop up time. Just some extra insurance just in case with Luke going down.

having watching Graham at OSU im suprised he hasnt found a place to play, big body with what seemed to be a nice touch, and pretty agressive. While i doubt he will actually ever get off the bench, he could be a nice pick up.

Just an insurance signing who will see minutes ahead of Martynas. In saying that he only plays if injuries or major foul troubles occur. You need to make these patchup signings on occasions.

a couple months back right before the draft was about to start Jay Bilas was asked who could be a 2nd round sleeper? one of his answers was S. Graham, seems that hasn't worked out.

I read Stephen Graham is Joey Graham's twin brother. He's got good size. Hopefully Coach will at least give him a chance to prove himself. Could be a diamond in the rough.
