I've use realgm.com for most of my contract info but they have seemed to change the salaries and contract info.

Before i remember they would have salary per year and contract status.

One of the reasons I have been looking for it, is anderson's contract. realgm lists andy having two years left on his contract. i was wondering if he would be restricted after that.

i know the second round picks have some advantage (like boozer) as far as the unrestricted/restricted status.

same with marty's contract.

thanks in advance.

I am pretty sure both will be locked up long before they become free agents.

But to answer your question, no, I dont know of any websites that has that info.

Hoopshype.com is a good resource for salaries

So is basketballreference.com

thanks lyxo. that's the salary chart i remember. i thought they were on realgm.

he will be restricted. Boozer actually was restricted too. The problem we ran into with Boozer is that as a 2nd round draft pick, we only had the more restrictive early bird rights, not full bird rights because we made him a free agent after his 2nd season. Had we waited a year, we would have had full bird rights. The best resouce to understand all of this is the Larry Coon NBA salary cap faq here

how about lebron. i see that his fourth year is shown as being set. if we sign him to a 5 yr 75 mill or 6 yr contract (whatever). Does lebron's max contract eliminate the fourth year of his original deal?

No. It would take place after the current deal runs out

we have two choices - a 5 year extension after this season or a 6 year deal after next season. In either case, the new contract starts after the current one expires. It'd be better to get the 6 year deal after next season to get that extra year, but we likely feel better all next year if we get the extension done in the offseason this year.

i'm just looking at what ferry is thinking about before this trading deadline. i know he doesn't feel that gooden is worth the large boozerlike contract in the future. i just don't understand the push or reason to get him out of here this year.

i like anderson as much as everybody but trading gooden for a guard really makes our frontline skimpy and succeptable to an injury. unless they see marty able to contribute something this year or some nbdl player that can come in and do something.

ferry did find graham and he's done nothing but good things.

i also thought we gave marty a two year deal. hoopshype has him on a one year 400,000 dollar deal. i thought we signed him to a two year for a total of 1 mill.

I think the 2nd year is blank - that just means they don't know that salary. Note others have zeros, which means they are not under contract. I'm surprised we don't at least have a 3rd year option.

Gman-

Here is good info source on contracts.

You can also get decent info on the new Collective Bargaining Agreement here:

If you want to know what Ferry is thinking you will have to ask him. In my opinion there will be a trade, but the closer we get to the 2-23 deadline the less likely it is that it will be a significant one. In some respects you can understand Ferry not wanting to make big changes, as he comes from teams that use stability to get to the top. You also have to believe he is respecting Drew Gooden, our most valuable trade player, in that Drew has really played team ball this year, when his contract might have been aided by playing "me" ball.
