Just a bit of fun here. Place in order who you would select if our player pool was thrown into a draft. Ignore current contracts, but the players remain at their current age.

Great job, Karma. I'm up to my eyeballs with classes and students, but I'll do my bit asap. I guess I will start with Lebron, by the way.

Again lot of this depends on team makeup in a situation where you are drafting from scratch and contracts don't matter then age becomes a huge factor

1. James
2. Hughes
3. Ilgauskas (not being realistic with the age, but oh well, unique skillset)
4. Varejao (pre-injury, let's hope he's 90% of the athlete he has been)
5. Marshall
6. Gooden
7. Jackson
8. Henderson
9. Pavlovic
10. Snow
11. Andreskevicius (has never put up numbers at any level, afaik)
12. Jones (I would still take Earl Watson or Sarunas over DJ)
13. Newble
14. Hamilton
15. Wilks (Spud Webb '05)

Yes I don't quite get the age thing.

All this is is basically making every Cavalier a free agent that can be resigned with contract amount a non issue. Take into account player age, as some are young guys like Marty, and some vets like Henderson, so some would have more years left in them. I am just curious as to who people would pick, after LeBron.

LOL !! ....I actually spent a decent amount of time evaluating this logically, in my head ... I could write about five pages giving you my analysis of why I ranked them specifically in the order I put them, but, I'd look like I'd lost all rational perception of the value, and priority of time in my life ....lol.

Mine:

1. James
2. Hughes
3. Ilgauskas
4. Gooden
5. Varejao
6. Marshall
7. Jackson
8. Jones
9. Pavlovic
10. Newble
11. Snow
12. Henderson
13. Andriuskevicius
14. Wilks
15. Hamilton

kinda also shows how poorly I evaluate our point guards ...a needed upgrade that will need to be taken care of if we are to reach the heights we want to reach, as a team, in future seasons ...
