Dead Island was fun. I liked the open world concept and the ability to forage, build, and experiment with weapons. Each character has a different skill set, so if you play with the big black dude you need to use a blunt weapon like a 2 handed hammer and if you play with the Chinese chick you need a knife. (I think, I haven't played it in awhile.)

See I am obssessed with all things zombie (even played HvZ in college) I hated dead island, thought it was slow moving and the combat system sucked. Just my opinion though

Yea that's my pet peeve with it. But I enjoy the Diablo type loot system and crafting system they implemented. The combat system hopefully will be better in the second one.
