First trade.

Cle out: Ben wallace, Sasha pavs, Eric snow, chi 2nd
Cle in: Cutino mobley, Tim Thomas, Wilcox,

LA out: Cutino Mobley, Tim Tomas
LA: in: Ben Wallace, Wilkens

Thunder out: Wilcox, Wilkens
Thunder in: Eric snow, 2nd, Sasha pavs

Why for cavs: Get a starting 2 gaurd who can his the 3 and play some D. loose wallaces contract, but most of all get chris wilcox who would be great as our starting PF as he is athletic as they come, plays hard, gets boards, plays D and runs great.

why for LA: Get a real defensive backup PF/C instead of relying on rookies/ horrible players. they replace mobley with Wilkens, who can be great next to bdiddy, and it opens room for eric gordan.

Why for thunder: They want to move Green to PF and durant to SF this season and with all the bigs they have there really isnt much room for wilcox, and he doesnt have any plans with there future. they also aquire eric snow who is an expiring and will save them lots of money when he retires. not to mention hes a perfect coach/player to mentor there rookie Westbrooke. Sasha can also be a valuable piece and could possibly start at the 2. they also aquire a 2nd round pick.

TRADE 2:

Cle out: Wally world, 1st round pick
Cle in: Mike Miller, Cardinal

Minny out: Mike Miller, Cardinal
Minny in: Wally world, 1st round pick.

why for cavs: pretty self explanitory, we get mike miller who would be the best SG lebron has played with and would be perfect for our system, as he is big and can run, not to mention one of the best 3pt shooters in the league and can play some D.

why for minny: They get rid of cardinals ugly contract, and get back fan favourite Wally. he is also a huge expiring for them. they also get a 1st round pick.

note: this trade was on another forum and both parties seemed to like it.

hypothetically if both these went down, our final roster would be:

edit: this leaves us with 14 roster spots. indiana will most likely cut eddie jones and we could pick him up for the min. (he'd want to come to a contender right?)

PG: Mo Will/ Delonte/ Boobie
SG: Mike Miller/ Cutino Mobley/ Boobie
SF: Lebron/Eddie Jones/Kinsley
PF: Wilcox/ Hickson/ Jackson
C: Big Z/ AV/ Wright/ Cardinal

would like to hear some input, opinions, and comments.

thanks.

Trade 1 is rediculous for LA. You want to get rid of him because of his back problems, but LA has no clue about this. They give up way to much to take on nothing more than crap expiring contracts. Why even post such nonsense.

Trade 2 is something I would think about. Miller is 28 years old and the exact type player we need at the sg, but giving up a 1st round pick and taking on a herendous contract seems a bit steep. I would try to give them 3 mill in cash plus a 2nd rounder and that would be a deal.

By the way, likely hood of snow being traded is slim unless it brings us back an all star. He will save us, and us only, an additional 7.5 million in luxury tax by seasons end if he remains on our roster when the injury retirement goes through in 14 days. 7.5 million plus the 6 million or so the insuracnce is supposed to pick up most likely will be to much for danny and gilbert to swollow for marginal talent. Mobley and Thomas should not excite anynoe to give up over 13 million dollars.

LOL.

I think this would be awesome, but do you think Minnesota would give up Miller for Wally + 2nd rounder? If so, what's the likely-hood something like this could happen?

Oh geez. A Mo and Mike Miller back court would be probably the worst defensive back court in the NBA. When Mike guarded LeBron, he dropped 51. We don't need the Kobes and Wades of the NBA to drop 50 on us because of Mike. Though, his offensive game is polished.

If you are grading millers defense on the ability to guard Lebron, then you dont know basketball. No one can guard LBJ, Are you going to say Detroit are bad defenders when he dropped 29 out of 30 points in a playoff situation on them? Thing is Miller is a better than average defender, and would be the perfect compliment at the 2. Just not sure he is worth a 1st round pick and taking on a bad contract. Bad contracts might price ourselves out of having any cap space in 2010. Its not that I think we will sneak in and grab wade or bosh that summer, but we could be in place to add 1 or 2 really nice free agent pieces like Jason Richardson or Tyson Chandler for examples. (just names) Even ak47 is an unrestricted free agent that summer and might not be in line for a huge contract anymore.

I was skeptical of the LA trade, but the fans at realgm seem to dislike those 2 players and there pretty weak at pf/c.

What do you guys think of wilcox though?

Wilcox would be a great fit. He probably wouldn't start because theres no point to Ben Wallace off the bench but he would still get 30+ minutes a game. It would have been sweet had we gotten him in the Mo deal.

4th quarter line up:
Mo Williams
Delonte West/Daniel Gibson
Damien Wilkins
LeBron James
Chris Wilcox

That team would get up and down the floor so quick.. and they can all finish really well.

I would be down for trading Snow and Pavs for Wilkins and Wilcox.. but it would probably never happen.

Trade 1 sounds good, but i cant see it happening.

Trade 2 though seems like a possibility. But I cant see Minn giving up Miller until around the trade deadline.

Yea i was thinking more of a mid season trade.

im trying to figure out a way to get Miller and Wilcox for a combination of wally, snow, big ben, pavs, 1st, 2nd.

Wilcox would be a very nice add here IMO. Miller as well but I just can't get over how ugly Cardinal's contract is.

Getting Mike Miller would be really nice but the chances he becomes available is slim considering they have a retard in a GM(Kevin Mchale) and he has a history of "almost" skrewing up a hall of famers career by waiting so long to deal Kevin Garnett. Not saying Mike Millers a hall of famer but you get my point.
