Game 64| Cavs @ Phoenix| March 12th, 2009| 10:30 PM [ET]

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
does anyone know if after tomorrow we're done on the west coast until we play the Lakers in June?

That is correct. Actually we have a pretty favorable schedule overall from here on out. 12 Home games, 6 Road games (Sacramento, Jersey, Washington, Orlando, Philadelphia, Indiana)

Well first of all glad we got the win, and no need to complain about what the guys said after the game (Kenny, Chris, and Chuck). I thought most of what they said was right and they gave Bron nothing but compliments. Back to the game, again glad we got the win but we haven't been playing that well lately. Yes a win is a win and i would usually be one of the firsts to say that. But the bad defense/carelessness out there is a little concerning. I hope its only tired legs because if not we can be in trouble. West still seems to be out of it, he had 7 turnovers. Hopefully his back is okay though, but we need his mind to be in the right place for this team to be where we need it to be. Just hopefully he is able to get everything straight. Pavs stepped up big for us and Mo hit some big shots again. Hopefully we come out with a win tomorrow night because we will have the next 8 of 9 at home to really try and extend our lead over Boston in the race for home court.

(Also, its been a pretty good day. Won 400 bucks playing the Ohio lottery pick 4 today ;))

out come the haters of LeBron....you guys freaking kill me...

i mean the guy freaing almost won us this game by himself although I shouldn't say that because some guys really stepped up tonight and you all cant stop talking about him grabbing a board that basically fell right at his feet at the end of the game

GET OVER IT.... I guess he should have let it bounce away for the integrity of the game....

god damn i cant stand the haters...

as for the game... good win...some bad defense but good offense LeBrons block on JRich was clearly a foul but was totally hilarious...what an idiot for trying a 360

LMAO LBJ is a damn liar

We all know that Lebron is kept abreast of exactly where he is in his stats, as far as things like that are concerned. If he didn't know that he was a rebound away from a triple-d, it would have been the first time.

He's earned the right to have some of these stat privileges.

Good win..although I hate the TNT crew..how many times have I said that???
Good offensive game but there was no defense..guys were losing focus on boxing their man out and watching the ball go up..that has to stop..too many breakdowns..

Great game 3 ina row thats sick hopefully his knee is alright for tonight tho cant aford to let one slip away against the kings we gotta pile it on the celtics

I saw they have the ECF as well, so that's great. Their picture and picture BS while someone blabs about something other than the game really ticks me off. How many damn times did they show JVG in his race with that lady a few months back? I can mute the sound and crank some Tait, but don't take away my video feed. I don't understand the appeal of 90% of those segments. Are there really any bored casual viewers watching TNT at 1130pm?

Sorry, I'm dumb, JVG is on the ESPN crew. Well they can stop with the nonsense as well.

There's been criticism of the Cavs interior defense but the bigger problem last night was perimeter defense. No Cavs G played any defense for the 1st 3 qtrs against the Suns. The lack of any effort on D by Mo, Delonte, Gibson, Wally and Sasha was pathetic. They let guys blow right past them and made no effort to fight over or around screens. It was nice to see the effort picked up in the 4th. Cavs need to start having a more consistent defensive effort instead of waiting to amp it up late. It's a problem that's only come up recently so should be able to get straightened out. Perimeter breakdowns lead to breakdowns elsewhere and scrambling which can lead to points at or around the basket by opponents.

LeBron did force up a couple of very bad shots but other than that had a great game. I didn't see any stat padding at all and everything was done within the game and team concept.

Solid effort and good perimeter shooting but the overall defensive effort needs to get to where it usually is for this team.
