Seems to me that the Mods like to move threads if they feel they don't belong.
Case-in-point: Ben moved a thread that had been in "Cavs talk" for a while, but moved it after I posted a rumor in it.
Granted, my batting average isn't sparkling...but then again, I haven't tried to make it that way...I have only posted rumors that people may otherwise not hear. I have NEVER made-up a rumor.
My problem with the mods is that they allow themselves to post speculative rumors, but don't allow every other member the same freedom.
Ben is a perfect example, as he has STARTED two recent threads that are no more than speculation, or wishful thinking. Apparently he is better than the rest of the members here.
Want more examples? Just take a look at the Cavs-Talk forum. about 30% OF THE THREADS ARE SPECULATIVE TRADE THREADS.
A confirmed source is a person who is named. When the PD writes an article that quotes an un-named source, then it IS speculative. It is no better than if a member of this forum were to say the exact same thing.
If you want to hear only confirmed, non-speculative rumors...then keep wishing, as rumors are rumors because it is information that is not intended to be heard by the public. Therefore the idea of having a legit rumor is impossible, because if it is truly legit, it is not a rumor, but a fact.
How about we get some consistency from our Mods?
PS...this thread will be moved soon also, so read fast!
