Hughes injury could've come at a worse time.

hey fsqp13 - not only does 52-30 not look bleak, 55-27 is still very doable. We've turned the corner and will play better the 2nd half of the year than we did the first.
Here's hoping: I had the Cavs pegged for 52-55 wins and was leaning more to the 55 end

I thin we can get to 50 wins, for sure. If we can somehow find a way to land a PG .. without diminishing our PF spot much ....then we can clearly be the 2nd best team in the East.

Mourning Journal writes;

ATLANTA -- After shooting guard Larry Hughes had surgery to repair his right middle finger Jan. 6, the Cavaliers said he'd be out approximately eight weeks.

''It looks like it will be more like six,'' Hughes said last night before the game against Atlanta.

''They'll know a lot more in two weeks when I go back to the doctor. Everything is looking good. I'll be ready to go.''

The Cavaliers have struggled trying to find a replacement at shooting guard. Coach Mike Brown has tried Damon Jones, Ira Newble and now Sasha Pavlovic there.

Pavlovic has started the last three games and seems like he has a lock on the position -- for the time being at least.

Larry did mention to Reghi that he wanted to return to play the Wizrads which is on February 10th!
