What if lebron decided to study college and play in NCAA when he was still 18 do you think he will win a title there?what would be his status now? :king:

I think he would have 3 NCAA titles now, have 3 NCAA Player of the Year awards.

for sure. especially if he did not go to a school that had a tradition of winning and a strong coach, so that he would not personally be slowed down. the offense would need to be geared around his game so he could thrive with triple doubles and not have to worry too much about team defense.

with a solid career in ncaa he would have had a better springboard to the nba, like carmello anthony. carmello won it all at syracuse and look what that did for his career.

the only thing that would've messed up Lebron in ncaa is if he ended up with a strong coach. somebody like knight or krzyzewski would have insisted that he play a team game which would have cut into his numbers big time and would've been a mistake. those are the kind of coaches that ruin players by insisting that they work towards graduation (even though the player has no intention of ever seeing a diploma) and they prevent the player from keeping his peeps from hanging with him and the team. without that support group, it is hard on a young player, which is why so many playuz leave the ncaa early so they can dominate in the nba - like marvin williams did after he got his ring at carolina.

2 NCAA titles, UNC woulda got the last one, they were freaking sweet last year.

he probably would have went to UNC, like MJ. Gotten the title last year then went to the nba with all of them.

Depends on where he would have went... if he went to Akron, it would have done nothing for him. Maybe an NCAA title, but nothing's too sure. He would have definitely dominated but would not have gained any maturity, as it would have been a near repeat of what he did in high school. Unless he lost, which would have prepared him for some losing, but most likely blame on teammates, and looking to a bright NBA future full of winning.

It probably would have been better for him to go to a larger, respected program where he would have to play team ball in order to win. He lacks the trait of humility. It would have been interesting to see how he would play under a respected coach, with authority, rather than the Paul Silases and such, where LeBron James is above the team. It would be nice if we were winning, and nobody would complain, but it seems like it's not really working.

lebron has said before he would have gone to ohio state...

just like kg, everyone thought he was gonna goto unc, but really was gonna goto michigan.

lebron could have definately benefited from playing under a coach like, roy willliams, calhoun or coach k.

just think how good osu will be next year will oden and those two other kids, got i forget the ones name.

it was impossible for james to listen to silas. why respect a coach that never won any nba crowns himself? how many allworld titles did silas ever win? Lebron is a unanimous allworld. Lebron did a smart thing by getting silas fired. it might have disrupted last season but it was worth it getting a top player like larry hughes to come here. that would have never happened with negative coaches like silas or rudy tomjanovich. this way the new coach comes in and will obviously appeal to the players more because the fisticuffs and the fighting are out of the way.

it only takes one spoiled apple to make the whole barrellful rotten.
