i know i'm probably in the minority of people that this issue poses a problem for, but is there any thought of removing the feature that locks out guests from viewing threads after specified amount.

i know the goal is to get lurkers to become active posters and members, but my computer at work prevents cookies from being saved and so it logs me out regularly after I've gone away from the browser window to my work software for awhile. then when i return to it and click on a thread, it gives me the "you've exceeded the number of thread you can view" message.

unless I want to respond, it's a real nuisance to have to re log in every time I go away from the browser for a few minutes to do my real job in order to see if threads have had any more activity. i don't always have a comment. sometimes i just want to follow the discussions. thanks.

This particular subject has already been settled via private message. As it stands, the feature will not be removed. I apologize if this is inconvenient to any members of the forum.
