Madden 09 Demo on Live

Just wanted to let you all know that the Madden Demo is now available on Xbox Live. Not sure about PSN but I think it's there too.

I played it for about an hour last night. It starts off with a Football IQ thing that tests your skill and then sets the difficulty accordingly. After that it takes you to a "Madden Moment" when you're the Giants with a minute to go in the super bowl. The game looks good, but I was getting upset because there seemed to be a lot of dropped passes, especially on out routes and routes into the flats. Hopefully I'll be able to fix that with sliders in a couple weeks.

Does it play similar to NCAA 09 (gameplay,player movements,controls.....)? I think ncaa 09 has too many pre-snap options and the player movements don't seem realistic.

Nah it has just enough to set yourself up for a perfect play

Jesus Madden has been downloading for like an hour and it's 64%

Wow definitely wasn't worth downloading...you do a stupid skills assessment thing to find your own difficulty setting [IQ Score] and then you lead the Giants comeback over the Pats.

I don't mind players having the abilities they do [Power Runner,Cannon Arm] but do we need the massive bubbles underneath the players? It looks awful and takes a lot away from the gameplay. NCAA seems a lot smoother to me than this did as well.

Wow this game is going to suck

Everything you throw either goes the wrong way or completely ****ing misses... In example a Wide Reciever goes out for a deep pot and when you throw it, it goes straight, not in front of them in the direction that they were going

The only good part about this game is the running, I don't play games for the ability to run...



This Demo is a 2/10.... Not even worth it

yeah, the throwing felt way to off for me. Like I said, way to many drops. Also, why the hell did EA release a demo where you can't play defense. That's so lame, and it makes me worry that the there's something wrong with it and that's why it's not in the demo.
