I know someone mentioned him before and after seeing him today especially breaking that nice 21 yarder he seems like the type of back I'd like to build around.

He runs great inside and obviously has the speed required because he returns kicks...only 25 years old too...it'd be nice to get someone proven as opposed to rolling the dice an AP at #3 or #4.

He reminds me of the Chester Taylor situation in Baltimore behind a great RB regardless the guy is good enough to take quite a few carries away from the best offensive player in the league and is versatile enough to return kicks...

Someone said before he would require a 1st and 3rd rounder in which case you obviously don't want him...but then someone said for some reason or another he no longer will require any picks...

Any know for sure? Thanks..

Depends on how the chargers tender him as an RFA. Most likely he will get the 2m dollar tender, which costs(I believe) a first and third.

I'd love to get him on our team, but I don't think we have a shot at him... Unless we're willing to give up a first and third rounder..

If it were a 2nd, I really wouldn't mind so much, but a first and third is way too much...

Although, Savage did offer Taylor a contract even though he was restricted... He was only a 6th round compensation, so...
