Hey All -

I came across this site not too long ago and must say I am very pleased with it. The site is Myxer.com and it will give you loads of free stuff for your mobile device. They have ringtones, videos, and wall papers all free. They do have things that you can pay for but it really is not necessary because there is so much of the same stuff that is free.You can alos upload your own content or customize what else is on the site. It is free to join as well. I use it all the time and want to shre with my fellow RCF'ers.

Yeah I have know of that site for about 2 years now. Two bad they have blocked everything to Verizon...

I've been on it for a while also, I just get my ringtones that way, you can customize them and pick the type of sound quality and listen to it before you buy it.

There are so many ways around Verizon's blocks... I add all my own ringtones, wallpapers, and modded my phone for free internet access. Just use BitPim software and check out a forum like www.howardforums.com for all the tips.

It is a cool site, I had no clue it was around that long. I just found out about it a few months ago. Sorry to hear verizon blocks it.

I have T-Mobile and it works like a charm. I especially like the customizing of tunes.

There's freeware that I've used in the past called Audacity... you can rip any section from an mp3 file and use it as a ringtone.

yeah, I use that as well, also to record songs from youtube or what not

you also need a lame encoder.

I'm never heard of this myxer.com site, I'll check it out.

WATCH IT THOUGH I download a wallpaper and got a virus that destroyed my phone. Luckily I got insurance the day before.
