NBA Shootaround crew fired

Sources inside the Worldwide Leader tell us that the NBA Shootaround team is the latest casualty in the ESPN bloodletting that is being characterized around the Bristol campus as the “End of the Boo-yah Era.”

In a deal that is nearing completion, host John Saunders, along with analysts Greg Anthony, Tim Legler, and Stephen A. Smith are being kicked to the curb. The new team, sources claim, will consist of Dan Patrick, Mike Wilbon, and Mark Jackson, the trio who worked together on ABC last season.

I'll miss Anthony and Stephen A. Stephen A might not have made any sense, but he at least kept me entertained. Now we get to listen to Wilbon hate on Lebron every time the Cavs play on ESPN. Not sure about Dank Patrick and Marc Jackson though.

I hope Greg Anthony and Tim Legler pop up somewhere else but I have no need for Steven A. and his insane rants about Rasho.

Personally I would have canned Steven A. after his "great" showing during the NBA draft. You could tell the guy didn't do his homework and had no idea who most of the players were. All he did was go nuts over the Trail Blazers and all their trades.
