NFL.com wire reports
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Oct. 8, 2006) -- Cleveland Browns wide receiver Dennis Northcutt left the Week 5 game against the Carolina Panthers with a rib injury.
Northcutt left in the third quarter with one catch for 11 yards. He also couldn't catch a pass from Charlie Frye that bounced off his hands and right to rookie cornerback Richard Marshall, who returned the interception 30 yards for a first-quarter touchdown.
The Browns said Northcutt's return was doubtful.

You guys know our luck...first their return is doubtful...then they miss a game and then they go on IR. It happens every year right?
I'm actually hoping the man Shannon Sharpe nationally tabbed "Butterfingers" he does go on IR...then we can let Wilson get a much needed chance, him Winslow and JJ in the game would be hard to cover...toss in Braylon and thats pretty tough to stop.
Cribbs is a better KR and PR and probably a better WR too....I hope this was Dropcutt's last game.
