Pro Bowl Rosters: No browns, of course

I still am confused why Gates didn't make the Browns when they were the first team to give him a tryout after Kent State.

I guess Chad Mustard had more upside and they needed Ben Gay for that roster spot. The fukin stupid thing is the Browns should have Gates AND LT2 on their team.

He didn't want to come to Cleveland, if I remember correctly.

He wanted to goto Pittsburgh, they declined a workout and the Chargers stepped in right away.

My cousin was good friends with Gates at Kent..they were lifting buddies..

My cousin said he was meeting Gates at a bar to have a drink and catch up and stuff soon after he became a Charger and he walked in decked out in a Franco Harris jersey Steelers cap and etc..

He said he has family in Pittsburgh and his g/f was from there...:thumbdown
