Questions for Brian Windhorst

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yo BWind, MooHead! How bout them 2 And-1's James had on Pierce! Pierce tried to foul, but The King is Ferocious!!! *pounds chest*

Yo BWind, how do you like the PA guy at the Q now? I think he is a little annoying, and i like last years guy better. I hope MooHead gets an audition next year. I bet A Cow would do a better job...............

Chat so far:

Luke/Sasha- Luke seems to be doing the right things on the court, which is keeping him there. Making sure he knows where he's supposed to be on offense, and defense. Makes mistakes from being too tense with thoughts of where he should be.
Sasha seems to have more talent, but looks lost out there. No rotation change seems imminent unless injury.

Martynas: running with the team, but not really doing much, hard to predict.

AV: Running with the team in practice. But given our current success without him, we're bringing him along slow so that he won't re-pop the shoulder, like Rashard Lewis did.

Damon Jones is questionable for tomorrow. Max Benton won't give any information out.

Not ruling out an Eric Snow trade to NYK... but nothing in the works.
No trades in place, in negotiation. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

BWind had a lot of good things to say about Luke. Experienced... takes time to get comfortable, doing the things that won't get him pulled out...

Hates Shawn Kemp....

Free throw shooting improved: Mike Brown runs more sprints... and the one way you can get out of sprints is to shoot free throws, and he chooses the free throw shooters.

MY QUESTION:
In terms of Eric Snow and Ira Newble: Do you see them in coaching positions in the next couple years under Mike Brown? Both seem like they could be good assistants, Eric being a player's coach and Newble being a defensive minded player, with a knack for the system.

More recap:

Silas VS Brown psyche:
Last year: uncertainty, last year of contracts (6-7 guys)
Brown lacks experience, but is more of a teaching coach. Silas was more a feel, challenge players, more of how a player would play.

Gooden: Perimeter shooting, too much last year... how did Mike Brown get him under control? -- More people getting it done this year, so he doesn't have to take that shot....

Andriuskevicius: What does the organization think about him:
-Good shooter and handler, but bad in back to the basket..... Trying to turn him into Mini-Z... But nowhere near to compete in the NBA with his body size....Big project.... a test for the "new regime."

LeBron: has a comfort level... will gain respect for what he does.. Is not afraid to speak up, challenge teammates. Strategy talks with coach.... usually knows what he's talking about.. but has matured in the past few years. Has matured into much more of a leader, feeling more comfortable as a leader.

Interesting response from Brian re: my question about the team's reaction to DJones' media blackout. "They didn't really understand it." Hmm....

Awesome show, Sir Moo (like Sir Nose from P-Funk). Thanks for giving all of us here an opportunity. And for coaxing that moo out of Brian.

Thankyou lyXo for the recaps. Much appreciated.
