I understand that we are stacked at the guard spot but im trying to figure out why we didnt sign him instead of dupree. Ross is a good defender and can hit a jumper. Even though thats about all he can do but with mo and lebron and hopefully a rejuvinated Z ross maybe a great fit. Ross could also start for us if sasha is doing bad and if wally's defense is horrible. Also theres like an 80% chance wally gets traded by mid season so then you possibly get left with sasha as a starter and if he hasnt improved or went back to his 07 form its not going to be pretty. Ross has been compared to a poor mans bruce bown and i think we should of/should make a run at him.

I love his defense and wouldn't mind having him.. Quality perimeter defending depth is something I'm on board with... However, I do feel we could eventually feel the wrath from someone's little brother if they went this route..

The experts agree:

Kinsey >>> LeBron

Bring him in. He attended my alma mater. The only former SMU player on an active NFL or NBA (SMU has no baseball team) team right now as far as I know. Would love to see him on the Cavs. He's actually very talented and was the main reason SMU was a decent team when he was there.

Sorry but when's the last time you have ever watched Ross play?

He's a quality defender but he's far from being a good shooter by any means... Whenever he was on the court, teams encouraged him to shoot because how bad of a shooter he was... That's part of the reason he hasn't found a home yet..

He's basically a Eric Snow type player: good D, no offensive whatsoever...

But he has the size and plays the type of defense that would give guys like Billups, Rondo and perhaps Allen trouble...

He's the type of defender I would stick on a quicker PG type to be honest...

If you're asking me...I have literally NEVER watched him play in the NBA. Not one game, not one minute. Everything I'm saying was pulled out of my ass, solely because he attended SMU.
