I actually thought Putney used his length well on defense a few times during the first half. He is chucking, but it seems like he does have range, and he shoots the ball in motion. Fact is, most - if not all - of these guys aren't good enough to make an NBA roster of our caliber.
That would be false though, too, because Robinson won in 2003. I think one of the stat guys messed up. The general idea though makes sense. I.E., it's rare for a #1 pick to win a title for their franchise.
