so far this season we haven't gotten a win against a "tough" team. This memphis game will be the first chance to put a w in the win column against a legit team.

noky, toronto and seattle haven't shown much early this season and memphis is showing that they are as tough as anybody. gasol has picked up his game and eddie jones seems to have new life in memphis. frankenstien battier is just getting better every year.

our chemistry seems to be coming along faster than we thought but it hasn't come against tough teams. this will be a good test for us. a good measuring stick on how well we handle adversity while going on to a win.

it sure seems the west has been turned upside down on good and bad teams since last year. utah, memphis, golden state, charlotte and the lakers going good and teams like denver, seattle having trouble.

We would have had a better chance against Memphis with Donyell Marshall. It would have been a completely different game.

Now with Marshall, I forsee an easy W on Friday. But... every home game has been a blowout so far... will this one too?

Sort of expected this early on G-Man. This team has alot of developing pains to go through before they can be a consistent nemisis of the "good" teams. We just need to remain solid on our home court and beat the lottery teams on the road. As this teams gels, then we may be able to stick with the front runners on a regular basis.

Against Memphis it was the second end of a road back to back. We also (on top of having lost AV) lost Marshall as well. No reason to worry too much about that game.

I'm hoping they do very well against Memphis at home: expecting a win

i guess i'm just saying, don't get to high on these victories. we caught seattle struggling and add lewis going out early. right now i think we have more than five guys on the team that think they should be in there at crunch time. we haven't had a crunch time except for memphis and marshall was not even availible.

no reason to get high on such victories, but that is the beauty of being a playoff contender. there are games that we expect to win, so winning is not a big deal. wannabe teams get all excited about winning simple regular season games. the cav's are passed that. we win games that we expect to win. nothing to gripe about there, my man.

we should make sure to dominate the weaker teams and make good against A-rated teams, can't allow ourselves to lose to the spurs like that again... or even lose for that matter... :king:

Good point G-Man. We will know how good the Cavs are when they can beat a tough team on the road. They hung with SA for a half. Next test: @ Indiana Nov 24
