Way Too Early 2023 Browns 53-Man Roster Projection

I ended up getting 47/53 right. I incorrectly assumed Deshaun Watson would not be suspended at all and the Browns ended up keeping 2 backup QBs instead. Jakeem Grant and Nick Harris had season ending injuries in camp which kept them both off the Week 1 roster. UDFA D'Anthony Bell made it over Herb Miller as the 10th defensive back.

Pretty good projection here.. Few notes--

WR: I think WR6 comes down to Goodwin and Grant, and who looks better in camp but also where they plan to get their returners from.. Ford isn't likely to be on kickoff duty being RB2 and there's a chance DPJ could field punts again with WR depth... I do think Grant's ST ability gets him the early nod over Goodwin after the Tillman addition...

OL: Tend to think they'll find a way to get 10 OL on the roster... Interested to see how the Dunn/Haeg/Deaton/Harris battle plays out for the last 1-2 spots..

DL: I do think this is the year they keep 10 DL with the depth at EDGE and uncertainties at iDL... It's anybody's guess behind Tomlinson and Ika pending health of Hurst, off-field stance on Winfrey and overall production of Elliott, Hill, Togiai, etc... Wouldn't be surprised to see another DL added pending Winfrey making the team..

LB: We could see a veteran addition during camp given the guys returning from injury... Otherwise, think the health of main guys will determine if they keep 5 or 6 LBs..
