Where were you in 89'?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
i was serving in germany and it broke my heart. away from home and nobody to cry on. waaaaaaaahhhhhhh.

same as karma...i had started following bball about 2 years after that (all we got down here was jordan and the bulls basically so thats who i followed, but didnt learn of the shot until years later and while i admire the shot and still do, now being a cavs fan, i really wanna see the jerseys swapped over ;)

btw, i was 8 in 89 (my football team finished last that year, my avatar is their jumper), something that occured 7 more times in succession after that year, so ask me how a loser feels :( just imagine having your formative years watching your sports team you love finishing last 8 years in a row...it fkn sucks, many many tears at the hands of teasing...but, oh, we got sweet revenge in 02 when we won it all and the final vs the local team...oops, a bit of track, but thats the equilavent of the shot for me....arghhhh

i think its funny on "the shot" video where one guy says IT GOOD and the other guy just goes GOO---.

I was thirteen. Living room. Crushed.

I just wish someone had the highlight of Ehlo's shot to put us up in the first place. I have a pic of it as my desktop, but you just cantfind the video.

That was lenny's biggest mistake as the Cavs coach. Building an inbounds play where they scored too fast.

who knows how the entire history of the nba since then would be different had that shot not been good

I was 3. Didn't know nothing about the world. All I knew was my mother and father.

Gee Im glad those days are over.

I was 9 years old at the time, sitting in the living room and watching the game with my dad. He switched the stereo from the TV sound to Tait's call right before Ehlo inbounded the ball for the go-ahead bucket. Tait went nuts, I was running all over the house.........and then............we know what happened.

The worst part of the experience for me was that the radio call is faster than the TV signal, so my dad and I heard that it was good as Jordan had just released the ball on the TV. My heart was broken 2 seconds sooner than the people that watched it on TV.

Came across this video a few nights back, its not for people with a weak stomach. It about made me throw up or climb a water tower and start shooting.

9 years old...it was actually what got me started playing basketball. I got so angry that I thought I need to play ball to seek redemption. A couple of beers and some bong hits later, I stopped playing ball after my freshman year in college.
