Looking over some of the many rumors on ESPN and ProFootballTalk, I have yet to see any statement claiming that the Browns have any interest in trading for Marshall. Personally, I do not understand why we wouldn't want to take on someone like him because of his immense talent. because a trade has yet to happen, I can guess that his price tag is dropping; and with trades like Anquan Boldin for peanuts...would you consider trading for him?

I think he would be a fantasic pickup for us, and we could (and should) eliminate the rumors of drafting Dez Bryant at 7. Marshall has an attitude, sure, but his overall production makes up for it.

What do you guys think?

Would I take him? Depending on the price, yes I would. Do I think the Browns would take him? No I don't.

He's a true blue asshole, but he's one of the best receivers in the game and the Browns are so young and inexperienced there that he would be a massive upgrade.

I just don't think he fits the mold character wise and I think Denver's asking price would be too much.

I'm guessing they have been asking for a first round pick or so, but with the market "trend" on a WR like Marshall, I would give 2 of our 3rd rounders to get him. Character wise, there might be a problem with Mangini...but to pass up on the oppertunity for such a talent would be foolish. I would rather take a proven talent rather than gamble in the draft.

I would too...unfortunately Denver doesn't agree

I would take him, but Mangini likes to have smart and good character players, he certainly does not fit the build.

I would want him but I doubt the Browns would..

If they didn't want Michael Crabtree, Braylon Edwards and now Dez Bryant, why would they want Brandon Marshall, especially considering he's the worst of the 3 when it comes to off-field problems?

Broncos trade Brandon Marshall to Miami

Last month, Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said that receiver Brandon Marshall wouldn't be a good fit for the Dolphins.

Hopefully, Sparano won't soon be commenting on whether he'll be the Alabama coach.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Marshall has been shipped to the Dolphins for a second-round pick in the 2010 draft and "what is thought to be" a second-round selection in 2011. The deal hinges on Marshall passing a physical. (Though a formality, Marshall has had an on-and-off hip issue, the handling of which caused his relationship with the Broncos to sour.)

Marshall also expected to sign "one of the most lucrative wide receiver deals" in league history. The top of the market has been $10 million for more than two years, when Larry Fitzgerald parlayed the eight-figure back end of his rookie deal into a new contract. Others, like Randy Moss and Roy Williams, earn $9 million annually.

And though we've taken the position for weeks that the Dolphins, who will benefit tremendously from having a receiver who commands double coverage anywhere/everywhere he goes, should do this deal, Marshall's history of arrests and behavior makes us once again wonder what it takes to be regarded by Bill Parcells as a "thug" or a "hoodlum".

Maybe Larry David put in a good word for him.

AFC East gonna be a bitch.

So is there any doubt Denver doesn't take Dez? wow, nice pick up for Miami

Now that Marshall is in the Dolphins may want to move Ted Ginn according to ESPN. The Browns are not rumored to be a suitor for him but Holmgren is on record of saying they want a burner at WR. Ginn fits that profile even though he's been inconsistent, to be kind, as a WR.

Seems like Ginn would be one of those guys that you can get for a mid round pick. Would you trade for him if you had to give up a 4th or 5th round pick?

I feel like Ginn loses a lot of value with us since we already have Cribbs as a returner. I'd give a 5th or 6th.

Yea I'm thinking Ginn would be used as a WR primarily, a trick play guy with Cribbs and Seneca Wallace, and a terrific backup plan as a return man.

Sounds great...except Ginn cant catch the ball...it would be like a faster Braylon

Well, remember, Braylon only failed because he was from Michigan and thus the fans never gave him a chance. Ginn wouldn't have that problem....
