Can someone tell me the differences between these?

I saw that silver is free so im thinking about getting that to have money to buy NBA Legue Pass Broadband or clothes

Is it true that it is free? And what are the differences between silver and gold?

It doesn't offer much really, considering the fact that it comes with the system as long as you can connect to the internet.

Yeah, silver lets you use in-game online leaderboards, buy stuff in the store, and play MMO's that require a separate fee (Phantasy Star Online, Final Fantasy XI.) No online gaming though so it's kind of worthless. If you're looking to save money I would highly suggest you look around online. Amazon usually sells a 13 month card for $36, and other places are always running deals. You should never pay full price for live.

Can I download the NBA 2k Share Rosters? If I can I will probably get Silver then

Just so you know, you can't "get" Silver, you already have it as long as your 360 is connected to the internet.
So, go ahead and try to download those rosters. If it doesn't let you, you need Gold.

Well I currently have Gold so I will have to wait till Next Friday to do that

If you have Gold now.. Just download the roster thing now... And your account will never end, Microsoft is filled with idiots who renew your account right after it is up. And you gotta call the dumb asses up and bitch them out until they understand you correctly.

I have a pre-paid card, I got one for 12 Months +1 free month, so 13 month card. I used my grandmother's credit card a long time ago, and I guess they will be renewing it(60 bucks to the credit card), if I don't call them up and bitch them out.. Again.

Only thing that sucks about the 360.

well I got gold for Christmas from my mom
