Someone find a phone number and e-mail address. Let's bombard it. Now, do not become angry and vile and out of control, but if you strongly express your displeasure with the decision, and enough people do it... it could help. Tell them that you want the banner up, etc.

This is ludicrous, I cannot believe the citizens on cleveland cannot show love to a guy who has done so much for the city, only to be shot down by a bunch of assholes trying to get re-elected in the coming election. The banner wouldn't be hurting anyone, just picking on the little guys they are.

It wasn't too long ago I watched a video with Drew Carey on reason.tv going off about the mess of zoning regulations in Cleveland and how hard it was for businesses to get signs up to promote their business. I guess he had a point.

PLEASE - Let's not piss off a legitimate media member who is obviously behind what we have been doing. Windy, Finnan and Kyle are already in contact with admin and the mods... we don't need to make a big stink with them.

I'm sure Glen and co. will pursue all the normal steps. If you, as an RCF member, have special connections to the Commissioner of Buildings or the Mayor's Office, then talk to your contacts or PM Glen.

For everyone else, I agree that sending info to the Tips line mentioned above could be productive. As Keys said, local talk radio is a great way to make a difference. No need to write the Cavs beat writers, but if there are other local columnists who you think might be interested in writing about this as a "Cleveland story", you might write to them. I'm sure there will be follow up from WKYC and the PD.

This may end up creating more publicity for the billboard and more reason for various media members or local politicians to latch onto a cause. The delay sucks, but this may result in a bigger splash.

Yea I figured she'd be out until at least Monday. That sucks. Either way, it's a shame it probably won't go up tomorrow.....but if enough displeasure goes around and RCF looks into it more, I'm sure it could go up in a week or 2.

emailed channel 5, channel 3, tweeted to Windy and am about to post it again on facebook....with an organization of over 7000 fans (not all of whom are in the area) we should be able to put some sort of influence.....if this doesn't work let's just make as many of those posters the guys were going to hand out tomorrow as possible and get every business to put them up? I dunno but this sucks!
