A few random updates about the Warriors:

~Five, count them, five guards are technically under contract: Ellis, Curry, Morrow (RFA), Watson (RFA), and Charlie Bell. They have two small forwards, D-Leaguer Reggie Williams and an injured Azubuike. That is a major roster imbalance.

~They made Mike Miller #1 priority, but he doesn't have any interest.

~They have contacted Atlanta about Marvin Williams to play small forward/power forward.

~They are obviously searching for a trade, and Morrow being available in a sign-and-trade is becoming more of a reality.

Miller can knock it down from 3, and midrange and can put it on the deck. Better on D than Wally too obviously.

CLE out: Shaq (s/t for $7.5m)
CLE in: Morrow (s/t for $5.3m), Turiaf ($4m)

    ATL out: Marvin Williams ($6.7m)
    ATL in: Shaq ($7.5m)

GSW out: Morrow ($5.3m), Turiaf ($4m)
    GSW in: Marvin Williams ($6.7m)

Morrow would be a BYC, but this trade would still work within the salary cap rules

Turiaf is a nice backup center, but he is a terrible rebounder and technically too short for his position by about three inches. Call him "poor man's Okafor."

Agree, and didn't mean to imply I'd want him starting. But if we lose a couple of bigs this offseason, he might be ok in spot minutes as a stop-gap PF/C.

Plus I had to include him to make the salaries match
