    Windy on the Herd:
The difference b/w this year and Celtics series: There was nowhere to hide this year.
Last year, series ended and The Decision stuff began.
Asked LB 30 times this year about that series, never got a good answer.
Nowhere to run from the results.
No real concern from Riley that they acquired damaged goods.
LB needs to confront demons, needs someone to help him with mental side of game. Has trainers, chefs, business managers, but no one to help with mental part of game.
Doesn't know if LB gets it that it's his fault that the heat lost - that he has built a culture of blaming everyone else for failures, surrounded himself with people that support that.
More complicated than just saying "grow up" Lebron.
NBA writing greats comparing LBJ to Wilt vs. Celtics when Wilt took like two shots.

Riiiight... I don't really recall other great players needing someone for the mental side of the game...

No because while it's as close to fair as possible as they'll get from a talent perspective, LeBron would be absurdly pissed and refuse to play for a gutted ORL team.

    It would be hilarious though.

The thing here that is lost is Zydrunas. LOL @ Z. That's what you get for chasing a ring, you punk. You get to sit on the bench in a suit and watch your BFF LeBron choke away your last chance at a championship.

During the game I actually think I saw Z standing by the bench.. they probably didn't even have a seat for him. Poor, poor Z.

Looks like Kelly still has a hard on for Dan...

Cavs owner Dan Gilbert is still smarting about LeBron James

Cavs owner Dan Gilbert is still smarting about LeBron James
    By Kelly Dwyer
Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert is a walking, talking, Tweeting, "something to say." Very little can pass the NBA docket without Gilbert having an opinion, and certainly nothing passes the NBA's sniff test, to his nose at least, without the Cavs' owner/operator taking it to the Tweets. Especially when it comes to LeBron James(notes), a former Cav who left Cleveland because his Cavaliers supporting cast were a terrible thing to behold.

Still strangely hurt because James would prefer to work next to Dwyane Wade(notes) instead of Mo Williams(notes), here is what Gilbert Tweeted last night after James' Heat fell short against Dallas:

    Oh, come off it, Dan.

You're the guy that bought the Cavs because the Pistons weren't available, taking in a Cavalier team that already had James on the roster, a ready-made money-maker. And while I was amongst 99 percent of the basketball-following population in rooting against James and the Heat in these playoffs, the fact remains that he left a terrible supporting cast in Cleveland to play for less money in Miami, in order to chase a championship with the Heat. He did all that we expect from a star. He did it like a bit of a [expletive deleted], and he failed his team in these Finals, but as an NBA fan I would have been incredibly ticked off had this guy chickened out and stayed in Cleveland.

You'll never get that, because you're trying to set an example for the children, or some such tripe. Good on you. Hopefully you find a shortcut toward 25 wins in 2011-12, because the Cleveland Cavaliers fan base deserves better. With LeBron, and without.
    What an asshole...
    Not a big BRA anymore...

Not to mention you're essentially making a divisional rival a team you'll never beat in the next 2-3 years for a guy absolutely no one on your fanbase likes, all the while having to deal with said guy with no cap space/picks.

This is my whole point. Why would a marketable free agent take less money to go play in Miami now, having seen this year's results? I think they were more than a basket here or there from beating Dallas, I think they were completely outclassed and it showed more and more throughout the seven game series (make that six games). I really believe that the level of free agent they can attract for next year took a serious hit by losing in the manner that they did this year.

and who is going to go play with him after the way he threw his former teammates under the bus with the "die down in the moment" comment
