Re: Minor League Thread
Francisco Lindor update:
http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats...pbp&pid=596019
AVG G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI TB BB SO SB CS OBP SLG OPS
.327 24 107 18 35 5 2 2 8 50 9 14 9 4 .379 .467 .847
Not bad for an 18 year old in full-season ball.
Oh, and I don't think anyone mentioned it, at least in here- Washington had hip surgery. Down for two months. Second time he has had surgery on that hip.

Re: Minor League Thread
As the Indians fall apart so do the daily minor league updates.
Nick Weglarz was designated for assignment.

Re: Minor League Thread
Wheeler cleared waivers and was assigned to Columbus.
What's the deal with Lonnie Chisenhall? He is still on the minor league DL. If Jack goes on the DL I was hoping they would bring him up.

Re: Minor League Thread
Keith Law rated Francisco Lindor as the 17th best prospect in Baseball in an article on ESPN today.
17. Francisco Lindor, SS, Cleveland Indians (age 18)
Current level: Low Class A (Kane County)
Preseason ranking: 35
He's rising fast and could be top 10 by the end of the year. Very advanced for his age, more than holding his own in low-A even though he's 15 months younger than Starling.

Re: Minor League Thread
Nice article on Lindor from Bill Lubinger of the PD:
http://www.cleveland.com/tribe/index...spect_fra.html"When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?"

Re: Minor League Thread
Any reason why Lindor is in mid level A instead of high A? Just trying to give Clevelanders a chance to see him?

Re: Minor League Thread
Probably don't want to rush him and just let him develop. Though I do think he should be up there kind of soon.

Re: Minor League Thread
Also Tony Wolters is in High A right now in front of him. (who is also a pretty good prospect) he was struggling in April, but seems to be figuring it out now.

Re: Minor League Thread
Ronny Rodriguez is the SS in Carolina right now.
But that's one reason, usually American kids a year out of high school spend most, if not all of that first season in Low-A.
The biggest reason is the fact there is literally zero need to rush him.
He's got at least three years of minor league play ahead of him with Cabrera in Cleveland. Unless Rodriguez gets hurt in Carolina there is simply no reason to allow him to skip ahead in his timeline.

Re: Minor League Thread
That's right. Isn't Ronny a good prospect in his own right too? And where is CavsFanLA? I'm talking baseball bro.
