No trade will happen before the All-Star break anyway, After it though things should get crazy.

And Quincy Miller was* the #1 prospect coming into this year before he tore his ACL.... still recovering... would not at all be a bad pick... very Durant like.... very very confident in his game...(Chicago kid...)
We are all Witnesses to this Quitness.

Something about drafting a kid who tore his ACL in HS just doesn't sit right with me.

I just can't see what the cavs plan would be to rebuild this team without getting a high pick this year. All this team needed to do was not be this good this year and get a higher pick to have a chance to hit on one more prospect, thats it just one more prospect. Now we will be stuck doing the same thing over again which is trading for older players or younger players that are grossly overpaid for what they bring to the court on a nightly basis. I don't know what to think right now.

still early in the season, still haven't traded Ramon, still haven't traded or bought out Jamison, still haven't played the toughest part of the schedule, not worried one bit...just sitting back and thanking Grant for taking Kyrie and TT and finding Gee (basically another 1st round pick) for absolutely nothing.

I disagree. You have to figure this team was not going to be picking top 4 again with the improvement through having the 1st and 4th picks. Top 4 is pretty much locked to be Barnes, Davis, Drummond, and MKG. The next few picks are expected to go to guys like Thomas Robinson, Sullinger, Perry Jones, I've seen Henson on some boards, Cody Zeller etc. Realistically the top 7 picks, IMO, should go to Davis, Drummond, MKG, Barnes, Sullinger, Robinson, and Perry Jones. That leaves guys like Brad Beal, Jeremy Lamb, Terrance Ross, Austin Rivers etc. still on board you figure when we pick. I think if we snag a pick anywhere from 8-10.. we'll be fine.. this is a deep draft.

Right, and if the Cavs had decided to go with the full on rebuild (trade Jamison, Sessions, Andy), they'd have a shot at Davis, Drummond, Barnes, or MKG.

Now they'll have to settle for Beal or Ross and hope they turn out to be better than advertised.

Can't blame it on Grant. It takes two teams to make a trade. And teams like L.A. who are interested in Sessions are much more interested in Dwight Howard and will not be giving up any potential assets they could use for him till they see where he will go. Any Sessions trade will likely come after Howard is traded or right at the deadline when the teams realize Howard isn't happening for them.

Love the gloom and doom mentality of CLE fans!! It's all ruined now! The next 10 years is blown because AJ and Sessions!! Fire the FO! In the meantime, I'll enjoy letting this play out, faithful in this FO's work in rebuilding the disaster it was left with after LeChoker left. BTW, it seems two of our young core guys, Gee and Kyrie, are more than proving to be the anti-chokers. 30 points combined in the 4th. Clutch shots, FT's, and D all year in crunch time. BIG time 3's making Gee #1 3pt shooter in the 4th quarter in the NBA this year. Hell, even TT getting some great late game pt lately. Def can't hurt anything there.

There is still 36 games left to play. Plenty of time for the standings to change quite a bit. This is a deep draft. Sure I would love to be in the top 5, but there will still be quality players to be had even if we keep up our current pace and pick in the 8-10 range. Beal, Jeremy Lamb, Austin Rivers and Cody Zeller all look like they could be pretty good NBA players.

8-9 yes if all the guys come out. If we lose out on Barnes, Beal, MKG and Lamb then I am sorry we really missed out. Not that Miller and Ross can not be good players. However there is a reason why scouts are not as high on those guys. The reality is if we dont get a future all star out of this draft, then we will need to sign a big time free agnet to have a chance to build a champion.
The only mega star that would possibly come would be Lebron in 2014. If that is our only hope of building a championship roster then we would have to leave cap space open for 3 years and pray Lebron does not skrew us again. Sorry, not exaclty excited about the way that might play out!!!!!!!! All of you guys convincing yourself that we are getting a future all star at pick 11-13 are being blind homers.

UConn’s Andre Drummond pulls a Roscoe Smith
By Jeff Eisenberg | The Dagger – 10 hours ago

It's becoming increasingly apparent that UConn may need to spend a little more practice time improving its end-of-half clock management.

One year after Roscoe Smith memorably attempted an 80-footer at Texas with 11 seconds left in a tie game because he mistakenly thought time was about to expire, teammate Andre Drummond made a similar gaffe against Villanova. Instead of dribbling up court or passing to an open teammate after corralling a rebound at the end of Monday night's first half, Drummond released a wild 85-foot heave with more than four seconds remaining.

    (Vidoe on linked page)

The reaction from commentators Bill Raftery and Jay Bilas was spot-on as the ball sailed out of bounds well to the left of the hoop. After Raftery naturally questioned why Drummond didn't pass, Bilas referenced Smith's blunder from last year, dryly noting, "We've seen this movie before."

Indeed we had, and in both cases the outcome for UConn was the same.

[Related: Shabazz Napier bails out UConn at buzzer]

Last January, Kemba Walker made sure Smith's shot would be remembered as a hilarious brain cramp rather than a disastrous mistake by capping a brilliant overtime session with a game-winning pull-up jump shot. And on Monday night, fellow point guard Shabazz Napier did the same for Drummond, sinking a last-second go-ahead 30-footer to give UConn a 73-70 win at Villanova to salvage a win the fading Huskies desperately needed.

No way Miller even comes out if he drops out of the first like NBADraft.net has him. Yea hes built like Durant, and a little cocky, but he has only had a hand full of games that hes stood out. If he actually comes out and is in the 20's ill gladly use an acquired pick on him. Other than that ill pass.

BTW Barnes is heating up. The last 4 out of 5 games I believe hes had over 20, and had a few games where hes shot atleast 50%. Say what you want, but the talent is there and would fit nicely next to Kyrie.
