JT Barrett (4* dual threat qb from Texas) just committed to the buckeyes.

I thought we would have a chance if he had a good visit over the spring game.

He pulled the trigger suprisingly before the game though.

Not sure if we go with 2 QBs in this class..Trubisky would likely get the other spot if we do.

Woodard is from New Jersey, Elliot from Missouri, Baugh from California, and Barrett from Texas. 40% out of state commits so far.

Spring game is this weekend, and I expect a couple more to follow shortly after. Keep a look out for names like Bosa (FL), Pocic (IL), Anzalone (PA), and/or Heuerman (FL) popping up in this thread soon.

Fuck yes. Works perfect for this new offense. Odds are he'll be serving 2 years under Brax, which will give him some time to grow. I'm pumped to watch this kid grow as a player.

Only a matter of time til Bosa commits imo. If we can snag Treadwell and some speedy Wideouts and some OL's, plus Anzalone on D, we are fucking stacked. Also sounds like Khaliel Rodgers might be a part of the team.


I'm interested in your guys' thoughts on if we take another QB. If we do, I doubt we have a shot at Deshone Kizer who's turning out to be one of if not the best QB from Ohio.

Kizer is a big Mich fan & I am sure they will pursue him hardcore next year.

I would assume Urban still does a full court press with Kizer no matter who he gets this year though.

Drew Barker is the QB I want next year though.
he has some Tebow similarities & Has big time interest in Ohio State.

I hope Bosa, Huerman & Anzalone all get treated great this weekend & enjoy their visits.
Bosa & Anzalone would be huge for our 2013 class (Bosa has been my crush for a while)
Huerman & Bagh would be a great TE class but taking 2 TEs in a numbers shortened year is kinda iffy.

If we take 2 QBs this year Chapman Hodges Baily & Trubiski will be the likely second option. I kinda hope Urbie goes full court on Zaire just to piss with ND though.

Supposedly Heuerman is trending Notre Dame's way. Obviously OSU gets the last crack but I wouldn't be 100% surprised if he opted for ND.

I think the kids that commit for sure this weekend are Courtney Love and Alex Anzalone. Bosa seems like a good bet to commit as well.

Regardless, this class is shaping up very nicely on both sides of the ball. There's going to be a ton of young talent and depth on this team come 2013 and 2014.

Bama is still an option for him as our some other southern schools.
I won't be shocked if he is a Buckeye come signing day...But I think he will continue this recruiting process.

Urban is such a stud....

We're going to see some of the greatest recruiting classes ever. He was able to do amazing things at Florida, Ohio is a HS football powerhouse and he still has the SEC pipelines.

People that say you can't do this and that in the Big10 are going to be in for a wakeup call. Just because DickRod was an egotistical jackass doesn't mean it can't and won't work. We're about to start seeing video game numbers and I for one can't wait. The whole bitching from Wisky and co about the gentlemen's agreement and etc is going to cost them when we hang 60 on them and have our backups backups putting boots to asses.
