Re: NBA Regular season games thread
OKC already suffers from terrible spacing. Rondo wouldn't help that.

Re: NBA Regular season games thread
So Reggie Miller just talked about the best scorers in the league and didn't mention LeBron. Now, forget my feelings towards lebron, but it has always been a pet peeve of mine that people somehow leave him off of the list of best scorers and yet always mention Carmelo. Exactly how many seasons has Carmelo actually averaged more points than LeBron? 2. 2 out of 8. LBJ has averaged nearly 3 more pts a game for his career while shooting exactly 2% higher from the field. Always drove me nuts when the analysts would talk about Carmelo being the best scorer in the league when LBJ was here, and it still drives me nuts.
Patiently waiting for the day I can finally say "Daniel Gibson is no longer a Cavalier." It will be glorious.

Re: NBA Regular season games thread
I don't know anything about stats or whatnot, but Carmello is a more talented scorer in that he can score in more ways and from more places on the court. He's probably also harder to shut down.

Carmello can have all of the weapons in the world, and LeBron may only have a couple, but at the end of the game LeBron has more points.

Whats this about Marcus Thornton yelling at his coach demanding the ball?

Im tellin ya, people sleeping on the Blazers.
Also, I fucking hate Jimmer the player. I'm sure Jimmer the person is a nice guy and all, but I cannot fucking stand him on the court.

Hey man, I'm not trying to argue in favor of Melo being a better scorer than LeBron, just giving reasons why some people might feel that way.

I'm gonna be honest, I didn't think mike brown would make that much of a difference on defense, but it's starting to show. even Kobe isn't taking plays off on his side of the defense when the ball's not there.

Craig Sager questions Bynum's maturity, calls him selfish, speaks of how he parks in handicap parking spaces, racks up traffic violations among other quirks.. even called him a cancer.
Reggie Miller: "That's nice and all....."

Re: NBA Regular season games thread
Well yea, one of those things being fg %. So when a guy scores more and does so more effeciently, not sure how he isn't a better scorer.
I mean Derrick Coleman could score in more ways than almost anyone in the league, but he sure as hell wasn't the best scorer because of it.Patiently waiting for the day I can finally say "Daniel Gibson is no longer a Cavalier." It will be glorious.
