Re: Kyrie Irving
I think the same, Nike has only been concentrating on 3 folks with their own signature shoes so far - Kobe, LeBron, and Durant. Maybe an MVP-type season with a lot of hype around Kyrie will push Nike to produce one.
Maybe if he gets signed by Jordan Brand (Nike Sub.) I definitely see him getting his own model, not the best looking shoes (except for the ones MJ actually wore) but Jordan Brand puts out GREAT performance pairs.Missing RCF's "Breaking Wind" segments.

Re: Kyrie Irving
This just in...McFarlane just put Jeremy Lin into their NBA21 toy line...over Kyrie?! Fuck that, Kyrie has played so much better and has better stats than that piece of shit. So fucking furious about that...

Re: Kyrie Irving
don't think anyone ever would compare Lin and Kyrie. However, marketing wise, Linsanity is for a reason.

Re: Kyrie Irving
Kyrie has to be close to getting Curry's 50-40-85 rookie season..
don't know if it'll be valid in a lockout shorten season.. The kid is a stud nuff saidRead this:

Re: Kyrie Irving
The condensed season makes his numbers even more impressive, imo. He is being asked to play five games in the next seven days... Hell, seasoned veterans are struggling with this crazy turn-around.
Also, not sure what Curry you are referring to... Stephen didn't get 50-40-85. He was 46-44-86.
Dell Curry? Eddie?

Re: Kyrie Irving
Met Kyrie tonight at the game in Philly. What a nice guy! He took a picture with me and signed my jersey. I told him I went to the draft to see him get drafted and he said, "Wow, thank you!".
I also met his dad who was sitting right near our section. I spoke with him and told him what a respectful, kind young man he raised and how happy Cleveland is to have him on our team. He was genuinely thankful and said it meant a lot to him to hear that about his son. I said, "Well, you did a great job with Kyrie and I wanted you to know we notice". He took a picture a with me and then put out his hand and said it was a pleasure meeting me. I see where Kyrie gets his manners, his dad was very gracious.

Re: Kyrie Irving
Congratulations on wearing a non-Philly jersey to a game in Philly and surviving.

And really nice you could share our appreciation with his Dad.Last edited by wuck; 03-27-2012 at 11:06 PM.

Re: Kyrie Irving
So glad we have a talented young kid with a good father figure! Kyrie really has his head on level. Hope he isn't getting frustrated with the lack of talent around him. He looked really bummed the last 2 blowouts....

Re: Kyrie Irving
Hasn't played well in a few games. See if Scott can try to get him going at home next game.
Combination of more minutes with Sessions gone, slow withering away of talent (AV/Gibson hurt, Sessions moved), and better competition/tougher schedule seem to be taking a tollMichael LewisThere is a tension, peculiar to basketball, between the interests of the team and the interests of the individual. The game continually tempts the people who play it to do things that are not in the interest of the group.
