First thing that came to my mind... David Robinson / Tim Duncan. Robinson's injury provided the Spurs with the chance to get Duncan and really kickstarted a dynasty.

except he wasnt on washington during the 09-10 season, and kyrie was from the clippers draft pick.

    /nitpickiness

he is the perfect driver tho... chucks, no defense, shoots way too early in shot clock, etc.

correct, i was being stupid lol.

isnt it sad how he went from being 'the piece to take us over the top' to tank drive

i guess this is why he never won a ship anywhere

Nobody is playing defense, which is the first reason we are tanking. If you allow a steady 105 a night to you steady 94, the losses accumulate.

Jamison is deferring to the young guys to score. This is a classy veteran move.predeadline, he was putting up the numbers, which increased his player value for potential trades, just not enough to actually get one to go down. Now, with no intent to make the playoffs and with a bunch of kids on the floor, every night is a live practice and he and Parker are facilitating the play, but not dominating.

No need to throw rocks. Antawn came here to help win a ring. Le**** choked up, and as its turns out needs wade AND bosh to carry him. That's on Lebron, not Jamison.

    Cleveland Cavaliers
Guard Kyrie Irving experienced a right shoulder sprain during last night's game vs. Milwaukee. He will be listed as QUESTIONABLE for tonight’s game vs. the Knicks and his status will be updated as appropriate.

You can take this any way you want, I didn't believe it either at first. One of my buddies was telling me that a couple weeks ago he went up to Christie's (the titty bar downtown for those who don't know) and he says that after he was done getting a dance, the stripper tells him "Wow I can't believe who that was next to us". He asks her who it was and she responded "I was giving you a lapdance 4 feet away from Kyrie Irving, you didn't notice?". So he tells me he runs upstairs to check and make sure and finds Kyrie sitting there with 2 hoes right next to him gettin his mack on. I didn't believe it at first but hell but he swears it was him.

Don't forget Parker and his 6 points a game.

The Lester Hudson signing is part of a premeditated tank plan.
When in doubt, step up the defense

    From the PD:

Kyrie Irving (sprained shoulder) will not play tonite. Donald Sloan to start.

Irving did warm up and take some shots, but it was decided he would not play.

I have a feeling this is planned tanking at this point, especially because of Max's avatar.

Boobie out, Andy out, Kyrie out, when does Antawn or Parker go down?

I'm so sick of watching this team and the complete and utter lack of talent all around. Honestly, even the teams worse in the standings have so much more talent than we do. I don't think half these guys could make a roster on another team. We get all pumped about Gee, but honestly he's a little better than trash if you ask me and would barely crack a rotation on any other team. We need to do some shit this offseason besides just draft some future studs. We need to use all that cap space to get some/any talent in here.

Just venting because this team seriously sucks, bad

I think Gee should be your backup SF, not your starting one.

Never. That would have the opposite effect of the tank...

Would it really be? I mean their back-ups look just as bad, if not worse. I think less bodies means more minutes for bad players, which means tired bad players. That sounds like success to me.
Patiently waiting for the day I can finally say "Daniel Gibson is no longer a Cavalier." It will be glorious.
