Re: Kyrie Irving
This site has a 10 year ranking among many others.
http://stats-for-the-nba.appspot.com/ranking
The thing with APM, well one of the things, is that it can be calculated and tweaked many different ways. Only a few are publicly available at this point, but a few years ago there were as many as 4 different lists floating around. Some of those guys were hired by NBA teams and stopped displaying such data.
Here is his 4 year ranking

Re: Kyrie Irving
Royce Young of CBSSports put Kyrie Irving as one of his biggest 5 All-Star snubs along with Jennings, Harden, Millsap, and Laundry.
It is pretty amazing all Kyrie has accomplished in less then two months in the league; already being considered an All-Star snub.Kyrie Irving
He's a rookie. He's playing for a not great team. But as Blake Griffin proved last season if your play is outstanding, those things aren't supposed to matter. Look at Irving's 21.66 PER. That's top 25 in the entire league. And he's exploded over the last month too. He's really blossoming into one of the East's very best point guard and with the reserves just having two point guards, Irving has a good case to be a third.

Re: Kyrie Irving
My dislike for Wade has gone up. Even though it really wasn't his fault, for some reason it still bothers me a lot just because it came from that team down south.
If I sound ignorant, don't blame me. I post on realcavsfans.com

Re: Kyrie Irving
wade was also involved with rondos injury in the playoffs (which seemed far more malicious to me, kyries looked accidental).

I'm just glad that Pat Shurmur isn't handling Kyrie's concussion recovery process.

Re: Kyrie Irving
made a little chart. I took all the players in the nba with a 30% Assist rate (33) I then ranked them by advanced stat category.
Assist % TS%, Efg% USG % PER TOV% STL% BLK% TRB% . this was just a dry run. I didnt weight any of the categories and TS includes FTS EFG weights 3 pointers
so im missng players lke Brandon jennings and a few other point guards with less than a 30% but I can estimate their equivalent ranking without to much trouble if need be. I also left Jeremy lin on there for kicks. he really didn't have the minutes in 12 games to qualify. Of course a couple Small forwards and a shooting guard made the list but here is your top all around facilitators.
Rank Points Player Age 1 49 LeBron James 27 2 75 Jeremy Lin 23 3 77 Stephen Curry 23 4 86 Chris Paul 26 5 95 Derrick Rose 23 6 107 Russell Westbrook 23 7 108 Kyrie Irving 19 8 112 Kobe Bryant 33 9 114 Paul Pierce 34 10 129 Kyle Lowry 25 11 135 Deron Williams 27 12 138 C.J. Re: Kyrie Irving
Just wondering...but how can Ramon Sessions get multiple double digit assists but Kyrie can't? Is it lack of familiarity? Because I've noticed that the Cavs are converting a lot of Ramon's passes that they usually brick or bauble when Kyrie passes to them. Or is it Kyrie is not setting them up in their shooting pocket correctly?
