rebuilding the cavs - 2k12
hey guys, think i'm gonna start a assocation later today with the cavs as usual. I got tired of myplayer. so I want to obviously rebuild the team and tear it down as it currently is. plan on getting rid of jamison, varejo, and sessions. what have you done to rebuild the team. did you try to keep it realistic

Trade them for Lebron... Irving, Lebron and TT is a good core

Re: rebuilding the cavs - 2k12
rebuilding the cavs in 2k12 would be fun if it wouldnt be so damn easy...picks seem to have zero value so just trade everything you have for some picks and you have a contender in no time ...

Re: rebuilding the cavs - 2k12
Traded away all my vets, signed some free agents. I'm running Kyrie, Redd, Gallinari, Thompson and Bargnani with Augustin, Harris, Gee, Powe, Samuels off the bench. I also have a shit ton of picks after this first season.

Re: rebuilding the cavs - 2k12
Rebuilding isn't fun because it's so unrealistic....
You could probably get 3 1sts for Hollins the way the game values picks. Having the best 5 rookies from the 2012 class on your team isn't fun to me.Last edited by cdt; 01-10-2012 at 05:44 PM.

Re: rebuilding the cavs - 2k12
I haven't picked up 2k12 and don't plan too because of the lockout and delayed updates to the game as well as rosters.
I still play 2k11, organized all the rosters so they reflect this year and have draft classes up to 2013 so I can rock 2k11 for awhile (took a long time to organize rosters and salaries)
I would agree that I don't like how unrealistic the rebuild can get so I nerf myself a bit... In the offseason I sent Harris and Eyenga to the D-League, traded a future second + Hollins for Whiteside and 2 future 2nds for Shelvin Mack then signed Spencer Hawes as a FA (Hawes would be almost perfect next to Thompson IRL. Hawes has range and moves the ball on offense when needed. It took a year after being out of Sac-Town for Hawes to "get it" in Philly. With that said I expect that Omri will need about the same amount of time to let the dirt from the Sac experience wash off before he is consistent IRL, especially with the injury he had in the offseason)
