Re: Public Cause For Tribe Fans (Chuck Knoblauch and his wife are in)
Let's not make this personal with the personnel
I will leave you with this
how does a baseball team maximize any merchandising numbers
without any form of logo? You were the one who thought psychopaths were so interesting! They kind of get tiresome after a while, don't you think? ~Christopher Walken in Seven Psychopaths

Re: Public Cause For Tribe Fans (Chuck Knoblauch and his wife are in)
You can sell anything you want in the Team Shop
The C, The Red, The I, The Chief, The Old Chief, etc
Then you play with Plain
Guess how many people buy a plain hat? Millions, in the end. More than Wahoo. Use the block C on batting helmets, or make a new logo and sell a shit-ton of shirts. You make money this way. It's the real deal. Wahoo can stick around the park, but this is about Cleveland. It'll work. You can trust me... I'm a ballplayer

Fashion statement and commands attention ! (plus more room for advertisements if MLB goes that route)

Re: Public Cause For Tribe Fans (Chuck Knoblauch and his wife are in)
I can think of two people I know that used the word "ballplayer" on a regular basis. The first was my HS baseball coach that had watched too many Bob Knight locker room videos and was ultimately fired for harrassing a female basketball player.
The second was this kid Tyler that I played baseball with, who was a really kind well-intentioned dork that never really fit in.How about a quick simile: Watching the Browns from '99-'12 is like waiting for someone to finish shitting when you've gotta go piss real bad. Now imagine waiting on a 12 year shit...
