J.J. on the Move?
When the Kings and Cavaliers made a trade that sent the athletic J.J. Hickson to Sacramento (and Omri Casspi to Cleveland), it seemed a great fit. The athletic wing seemed a guy who could fit in well with Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins.

Hasn’t worked out that way at all. Hickson’s game has taken a step back in Sacramento — he is shooting just 37.2 percent, his PER dropped from 15.6 last season to 10.2 this season— and that has the Kings trying to move him, reports Marc Stein at ESPN.
You can’t like their chances here given J.J. Hickson’s season-long struggles, but sources say that the Kings are shopping Hickson hard before the March 15 trade deadline, hoping to salvage something from the last trade consummated before last summer’s lockout.
Like Stein said, there may not be many takers, but it’s a name to watch.
How about Casspi for Hickson and the removal of the lottery protection on the 1st round pick?

Re: J.J. on the Move?
Did anyone ever see the episode where Beavis and Butthead kept on trading each other a box of cookies for the same two dollars? How about we trade Casspi for Hickson plus their 2014 first. Then, once they realize that they don't want Casspi, we'll trade them Hickson for Casspi and their 2016 first. I wouldn't be surprised if they were stupid enough to do it either.

Re: J.J. on the Move?
Harangody for JJ and their 2013 1st rounder. I'd seriously take JJ if it cost us nothing. He's dumb as hell and has terrible hands, but he's athletic enough to use as a bench big if the contract was cheap enough.

Re: J.J. on the Move?
Guys...c'mon. JJ Hickson's not gonna want to come back. He's gonna want a max contract, and we can't take that big of a hit. It's a pipe dream, but could you imagine how unstoppable our lineup would be with Hickson in it. Wow.

Re: J.J. on the Move?
Remove the restrictions on that pick and we'll remove the headache. Who cares if JJ wants a max deal? If we don't send anything of value to Sac let JJ walk.
